PC-CMP Postdoc Colloquium

PC-CMP Postdoc Colloquium is an event series dedicated to supporting postdocs from the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry (PC), the Department of Cellular and Molecular Pharmacology (CMP), as well as the broader community. Postdocs make up a large portion of the scientific community here at UCSF. Therefore, we aim to create an open platform for members of the community to discuss, collaborate, and network outside of their labs. Our vision is to build a strong community in which everyone feels welcome and included.

What do we do?

We host recurring events each semester with two to three speakers presenting their work followed by a social event. We also regularly organize additional formats including poster sessions, career panels, and postdoc appreciation month events.

Who is invited?

While most speakers we invite are PC or CMP postdocs or alumni, we welcome everyone in the UCSF community to join our events! Our goal is to increase participation across all labs in the PC and CMP departments, and we are grateful for suggestions that help include labs that have not yet regularly participated.

How would I know about an event?

We send out event details the first week of each month, followed by a friendly reminder the week of the event(s). Email Lindsey Lin ([email protected]) to join our mailing list and receive notice of upcoming PC-CMP postdoc colloquium events.

How do I participate?

If you would like to (1) give a talk, (2) help organize, or (3) provide feedback, please do not hesitate to contact Lindsey Lin ([email protected]).
