In Tribute to Excellence: The Pioneering Contributions of Les Benet
A Symposium in Honor of Leslie Z. Benet, PhD
On Friday, May 17, 2024, the UCSF School of Pharmacy sponsored a symposium in honor of Leslie Z. Benet, PhD, a long-time faculty member in the School of Pharmacy who has made vast contributions to science. The symposium, held in Byers Auditorium at Genentech Hall, highlighted Les’s many contributions to UCSF students, faculty, and staff and included keynote presentations from Professor Robert S. Langer, ScD, from MIT, and Professor Carl Peck, MD, from UCSF.
