Nullomers are sequences 11–18bp in length that are absent from a certain genome, and primes, sequences that are absent from all known genomes are intriguing sequences that could have a detrimental impact on an organism.
This repository includes datasets of short absent sequences from humans and genomes including both nullomers extracted from the genome (DNA code). In addition, we annotate nullomers in specific functional subsets which include: coding regions, exons, introns, 5′UTRs, 3′UTR, and promoters.
