Akin Oni-Orisan and UCSF colleagues strengthen ongoing collaboration with University of Nigeria Pharmacists at African scientific meeting

Akin Oni-Orisan traveled to Sierra Leone to participate in the First International West Africa Symposium and Workshops On Infectious Diseases. The meeting offered an opportunity for UCSF to foster a collaboration with pharmacist faculty and recent graduates from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. The purpose of the collaboration is to develop a research training program for pharmacists in Nigeria. Other members of the collaboration from UCSF include Jen Cocohoba and Sharon Youmans.
