The Ahituv Lab is located at the UC San Francisco Mission Bay campus in Rock Hall. The Ahituv Lab houses state-of-the-art research facilities for molecular biology, developmental biology, and cell biology. The lab is part of open, shared lab space with adjacent facilities housing chemical hoods and shared large equipment such as shakers, incubators, high-speed centrifuges, autoclaves, gel visualization systems, dedicated cell culture rooms for biosafety level 2 work, microscope rooms, and dishwashing rooms. In addition, the lab has a dedicated, temperature-controlled zebrafish room with capacity for 4,796 fish tanks. Next to the zebrafish room are three complete zebrafish microinjection setups and incubators to house embryos following injection.
