Greg Merz has been promoted from his Postdoc position to Adjunct Assistant Professor position. As a faculty member, Greg will be supporting the IND’s drug discovery mission by developing and applying cryo-EM methods to determine atomic-resolution structures of protein macromolecules. His research emphasis will include using biochemical, cellular, and structural/biophysical methods to determine and characterize amyloid fibrils derived from complex systems related to human neurodegenerative diseases.
