Katie Hatstat awarded an NIH K99/R00 grant!

Congratulations to DGL post-doc Katie Hatstat for receiving the prestigious K99/R00 NIH Pathway to Independence Award for her proposal "Revealing signal transduction mechanisms through protein design!"

The award will fund Katie's work to understand the mechanisms by which signaling proteins act as switches to regulate cellular behavior, providing a platform to interrogate signaling mechanisms from first principles and bringing us closer to a molecular level understanding how nature has evolved dynamic yet specific signaling pathways.
