Clinical TB: Model-Based Analysis of Tuberculosis Biomarkers

This research project focuses on the use of model-based analysis to support the identification of M. tuberculosis biomarkers for diagnosis and cure, such as MGIT and Xpert, in order to determine their correlation to bacterial load and treatment response. The overall objective of this analysis is to assess biomarker–treatment response/bacterial load relationship in pulmonary tuberculosis patients with standard-of-care treatment by way of nonlinear mixed-effects modeling.
