The Women's Interagency HIV Study (WIHS), pronounced “Wise,” is research dedicated to learning about the health of women living with HIV in the United States. The Northern California WIHS location has been a part of the national network since it was first established in 1993, and has enrolled 680 Bay Area women at 4 clinical sites in San Francisco and Oakland.
