Amanda Wilson

Amanda Wilson is originally from the UK and moved over to the US with her husband in 2000. Although they had originally planned to stay for three years, they're still here 21 years later, along with their son who was born here. She received her first transplant several years prior to their move to the US but unfortunately lost it at the ten-year mark due to chronic rejection. During the intervening years and experiencing all modalities of dialysis, she quickly recognized the importance for both self-advocacy and advocacy for others. She's held a board position on Home Dialyzors United and acted as a moderator for the Facebook presence for both Home Dialysis Central and Home Dialyzors United.
