Maximum Number of Units Policy

You may enroll in maximum of 18 units per quarter. If you wish to take more than 18 units, complete the form below once study list filing for the quarter in question is available. This form is only required if adding elective course(s) will increase your current quarter's units to 18 or more. If you want to take more than 20.5 units, you must also submit a short statement on the form explaining why it makes educational sense for you to take so many units.

To expedite this process, answer all questions. Please provide 3-5 business days before receiving approval. If your advisor has any concerns, you will receive an email from them directly before approval will be provided. This may add to the additional time before approval.
